Attending or participating at international events in the cloud computing industry can be beneficial for a number of reasons. These type of events provide an amazing opportunity for professionals to learn about the latest developments and trends in the field, network with other alike-minded professionals, and stay up to date on best practices. They are also a big way to build connections and even find new job opportunities. Apart from that, attending an international event is a great way to broaden your perspective and learn about how software engineering is practiced in other parts of the world.
As a cloud computing professional/nerd, attending an event like the one organized by Alibaba is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. So, when I received the invitation to spend four days in Jakarta, Indonesia for the event, I was thrilled and couldn’t wait to participate.
