I recently passed my ACP (Alibaba Cloud Professional) Cloud Computing Certification exam. As Alibaba Cloud MVP Diamond, I want to help you to pass as well with the Alibaba Cloud ACP Exam Questions.
While the information is fresh in my mind, I want to put together a post on my experience to help anybody else thinking of going for this certification. According to Alibaba Cloud Academy, this certification is “designed for those familiar with cloud computing and a rich operational knowledge of Alibaba Cloud products. ACP Cloud Computing Certification covers a spectrum of Alibaba Cloud core services, including architecture, networking, cloud security, and best practices.“.
In terms of score, the following list tells you the percentages:
- ECS gets the most percentage of the exam with 20%
- RDS 15%
- OSS 15%
- Auto Scaling 10%
- SLB 10%
- VPC 10%
- Alibaba Cloud Security Service 10%
- CDN 5%
- General knowledge about Cloud Computing the last 5%
The Alibaba Cloud ACP Exam Questions, with 70 questions, puts a lot of attention in some key services they offer, this test belongs to a higher level of knowledge on cloud and can be a bit challenging to someone how knows just a bit about cloud. It’s important to know the specifics of the products they offer for a successful test. Following I will list and details a bit the most important concepts you should learn.
Anti-DDoS
Anti-DDoS Basic is a free global service that enables you to meet stringent security requirements for your cloud hosting architecture without any investment. Provides DDoS protected cloud hosting by implementing security on network layer, host layer and data link layer.
Cloud Monitor
CloudMonitor is a free service that collects monitor metrics of Alibaba Cloud resources and custom metrics. The service can be used to detect the availability of your service and allows you to set alarms on specific metrics. CloudMonitor enables you to view and fully understand the usage of the cloud resources, and the status and health of your business, so that you can act promptly to ensure the availability of your application when an alarm is triggered.
Server Guard
Server Guard is a free host security software system. It provides functions such as host vulnerability detection, baseline check, virus scan and removal, and unified asset management. Server Guard typically only consumes 1% of the CPU time and less than 50 MB memory.
SLB
Alibaba Cloud Server Load Balancer (SLB) distributes traffic among multiple instances to improve the service capabilities of your applications. You can use SLB to prevent single point of failures (SPOFs) and improve the availability and the fault tolerance capability of your applications. Supports high availability across zones and failover within 30 seconds.
OSS
Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS) is an encrypted, secure, cost-effective, and easy-to-use object storage service that enables you to store, back up, and archive large amounts of data in the cloud, with a guaranteed reliability of 99.999999999%. RESTful APIs allow storage and access to OSS anywhere on the Internet. You can elastically scale the capacity and processing capability, and choose from a variety of storage types to optimize the storage cost.
RDS
The Relational Database Service (RDS) is available for MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL & PPAS. Achieve up to 5 times faster performance with Alibaba Cloud, with disaster recovery and 52 functions including read-write separation and database intelligent diagnosis.
WAF
Web Application Firewall (WAF) protects your website servers against intrusions. Our service detects and blocks malicious traffic directed to your websites and applications. WAF secures your core business data and prevents server malfunctions caused by malicious activities and attacks. Operated by professional security groups, WAF fixes zero-day vulnerabilities within 24 hours. WAF also supports multi-dimensional protection to efficiently prevent Challenge Collapsar (CC) attacks.
Security Groups
A security group is a virtual firewall that provides Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and packet filtering. Security groups are used to set network access control for one or more ECS instances. Specifically, security groups isolate security domains on the cloud.
CDN
Alibaba Cloud Content Delivery Network (CDN) provides more than 1,500 nodes covering six continents and 120 Tbps of bandwidth, and supports major ISPs worldwide. All with a response time of less than several milliseconds, intelligent connection selection, and a backbone network with 10-GE NICs and SSD storage to ensure the smoothness of content delivery.
Block Storage
Block Storage is similar to a hard disk, you can format block storage and create a file system on it to easily meet the data storage needs of your business. It offers a high-performance and low-latency block-level storage device for ECS. It supports random reads and writes. You can format block storage and create a file system on it as you would with a hard disk, thereby enabling block storage to meet the data needs of numerous business scenarios.
Brute force attacks
A brute-force cracking attack indicates that the attacker tries all possible combinations of the account username and password to crack the account name and password or other sensitive information. Attackers often use automated scripting tools to run brute-force cracking attacks.
VPC
VPC is a free service that helps you build an isolated network environment based on Alibaba Cloud including customizing the IP address range, network segment, route table, and gateway. In addition, you can connect VPC and a traditional IDC through a leased line, VPN, or GRE to provide hybrid cloud services.
